Laser cut and laser engraved glass

Glass and ceramic material can be processed with your CO2 laser system – the most commonly processed version being soda-lime glass used for applications such as kitchenware, windows, and glasses.

The interaction of the laser beam and the material causes micro-cracks to appear on the surface normally between 300-375 microns giving a contrasting opaque type finish for the engraved area.
