The software accepts standard Fanuc-compatible EIA RS274D G&M codes that CNC machine tools recognize.

CNC Motion

CNCMotion simulates the entire machining process in real time-accurately reflecting the movement of machine components and tools, and the form of raw materials changing into finished parts.

The virtual machines in CNCMotion respond to errors and environmental conditions in the same way as safeguards on real machines prevent injury and damage. Safety measures include halting NC program execution upon impact or axis limit, and warnings of unsafe hardware conditions (e.g., safety shield open, tool missing, tool impact on the cross-slide or holding device).

As a powerful visualization tool, the software enables testing and debugging of programming, as well as full machine setup, prior to actual CNC machining and turning.

The simulation includes fixturing with all available Intelitek hardware options. For example, simulated stock-holding options for the Super proLIGHT 1000 machining centre include a 52-piece hold-down set, machinist vice, low profile clamping kit and two air vices. Simulated tooling options for the Super proLIGHT 1000 include flat end mills, ball end mills and drills, along with R-8 tooling, quick-change tooling, and automatic tool changing (ATC).

The realistically simulated CNC machines give students and machine operators valuable experience before they begin working in a CNC workshop.

The FANUC emulator replicates theFANUC 21iCNC controller. Robotics Software

robocellRoboCell integrates SCORBASE robotic control software with interactive 3D solid modeling simulation software. RoboCell's virtual robots and devices accurately replicate the actual dimensions and functions of SCORBOT equipment. Students can teach positions, write programs and debug robotic applications offline before executing them in an actual work-cell.

RoboCell allows students to experiment with a variety of simulated work-cells, even if the actual workcells do not exist in the lab. Advanced students can even design 3D objects and import them into RoboCell for use in virtual work-cells.

SCORBASE

The software has several operational levels, each with progressively more functions, making the software suitable for both novice and advanced users.

Menus and dialog boxes can be displayed in various configurations, making programming and control much easier. Positions can be recorded, for example, while programs are being edited.

Besides the robot arm, the software supports peripheral servo axes and both digital and analog I/Os, thereby providing a comprehensive tool for programming and operating an entire robotic work-cell.

Automation Software

The software is a computer-aided design tool that teaches students how to design and operate hydraulic and electro-hydraulic circuits. The software's HMI animation provides an accurate working simulation of hydraulic devices and circuits.

Users can change the default parameters of the hydraulic components, such as cylinder diameter and pump flow. Software algorithms adjust the system's response to present a realistic hydraulic system response. The system's hoses are considered ideal and there is no pressure drop on lines drawn by the user. All units are metric.

In addition to simulation of virtual circuits, HydraMotion can control actual electro-hydraulic circuits. When connected to the HydraFlex training panel, the software provides on-line graphic tracking of circuits in operation. (Requires computer interface control unit.)

OpenFMS

OpenFMS includes all the software modules and features of OpenCIM software, but is intended for use with flexible manufacturing systems. OpenFMS is limited to systems with one robot tending one or two machines and quality control devices.

OpenFMS software provides a comprehensive solution for the study and practice of flexible manufacturing systems (FMS), methods and operations:

  • OpenFMS gives students experience and knowledge in the concepts, uses and interconnections of the various software modules that comprise a FMS system.
  • OpenFMS allows students to gain practical experience in translating theoretical manufacturing methods and processes into actual FMS applications.
  • OpenFMS enables students to use and study components and subsystems individually as well as the entire integrated FMS system.
  • OpenFMS includes enhanced optimization functions and performance analysis to support studies in industrial management, operations research, management sciences and related fields.

OpenFMS incorporates the latest advancements in CIM, FMS and software technologies:

  • OpenFMS is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) tool. It combines a number of work-cell management modules: MRP for defining parts, machines and processes, customer, purchase and production orders; inventory control and tracking; scheduling and dispatching; report generation.
  • OpenFMS implements manufacturing execution system (MES) technology. It integrates real-time information with the system's PC-based database, and maintains online communication with all subsystems in the FMS cell.

PLCMotion

This software allows students to observe and understand the control logic behind the operation of industrial PLCs and gives students practical experience in the fundamentals of PLC programming and control.

PLCMotion includes an easy to use, human-machine interface (HMI) with graphics editor that allows students to create a complete production line or industrial process in simulation mode.

In addition to simulation of virtual applications, PLCMotion can control the operation of actual PLC applications. When connected to the PLCLine training panel, the software provides on-line graphic tracking of its operation. (Requires PLC control unit.)

PneuMotion

PneuMotion enables the study of pneumatics principles and technology. The software is a computer-aided design tool that teaches students how to design and operate pneumatic and electro-pneumatic circuits. The software's HMI animation provides an accurate working simulation of pneumatic devices and circuits.

Users can change the default parameters of the pneumatic components, such as piston extension and retraction, speed and timer set point. Software algorithms adjust the system's response to present a realistic pneumatic system response. All units are metric.

ProcessMotion

ProcessMotion software is an outstanding tool for demonstrating and understanding level, flow and temperature process control, with an emphasis on the process itself.

This data-driven animation software is designed for use with the ProcessLine training panel. The software is used to define the process set-point and the type of control - open or closed loop and PID parameters.

Students learn how water can be heated or cooled and raised or lowered to a preset level through manual and automatic control. Students also learn how flow rate affects water level and temperature. Students can create variable demand and supply disturbances by manipulating the panel's loading pump, and perform and verify controller tuning.

ViewFlex

ViewFlex can be used for stand-alone vision operations, or integrated in CIMflex systems for vision-based quality control application, or coupled with SCORBOT robots for vision-guided robotic tasks and QC processes.

The advanced features of ViewFlex allow users to implement scientific and industrial applications. ViewFlex software offers an extensive set of optimized functions for image processing and enhancement, blob analysis, gauging and measurement, and pattern matching. The system supports applications such as precision measurement, flaw detection and assembly inspection to enable compliance with exacting quality requirements.

ViewFlex enables students to design and develop their own vision applications using the software's Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) compatible scripting environment. The software can also interact with other Windows applications using OLE/Automation.

OpenCIM

OpenCIM Offline is the simulation version of OpenCIM. Users can design and run an unlimited variety of CIM or FMS cells in simulation mode, but cannot operate or control actual CIM cells.

OpenCIM Intro is a basic version of OpenCIM Offline. Users can run all the demo CIM systems included in the software and can perform manufacturing management (such as part definition, storage management, MRP, reports), but cannot design or modify CIM cell configurations.

specraCAD Engraver

spectraCAD engraver is bundled with spectraCAM software. It can also be ordered as a separate software package.

An interactive simulation software that processes CNC commands and executes them in real-time.

The software provides full 3D verification of CNC programming codes for both milling and turning operations.
