- Maximum model layers: 750
We provide a layer quote – you send the model (stl.) – we tell you how many layers the build will take and also the cost.
Orders can consist of more than one model block! (750 layers) Large models can be formed from joining two pieces (blocks) together – i.e. your model adds up to 900 layers, we can build it from two blocks one 750 layers deep the other 150 layers and you can then join (glue) the component parts together.
We can build models of any size within reason!

- £50 (+VAT) Express Service Available - 48hrs from initial call to model delivery!
Service maybe refused during busy periods. - £5 (+VAT) Standard Postage and Packaging -For large scale models and multiple components postage increases with size and weight!
- £20 (+VAT) added fee for model removal (peeling) - Very detailed models will require careful peeling, but transportation damage is more likely when model has been removed from block! Solar Laser Systems Ltd is not responsible in any way for damage caused during transportation and delivery.

Laser Cutting / Laser Engraving – (Universal Laser Systems)

We accept artwork in DXF, DWG, EPS, CDR, PDF, JPG formats. We also accept artwork in good old pen and paper, however, hand drawn artwork will be subject to a fee for conversion to vectors please contact us for further information
We can cut a wide selection of components out of material thickness from 0.1mm up to 15mm (depending on the material), and engrave graphics at up to 1000dpi, out of many varied materials.
- £15 (+VAT) for e-mailed artwork for downloading & preparation.
- If you do not wish to prepare your artwork for laser cutting/engraving we do offer an artwork preparation service at a cost of £40 per hour.
Our basic minimum price for lasering is £90 (+VAT). This consists of a £45 (+VAT) set-up charge and £45 (+VAT) up to one hour of laser cutting time. Each additional hour of lasering will cost £45 (+VAT).
We charge £5 (+VAT) for the taping up of materials with a low tack tape. This protects the surfaces from scorch-marks (on card, wood) and from 'gloom' (on acrylics).
Any artwork preparation is charged at £22.50 (+VAT) per 1/2 hour.
If the job requires repeat cutting there is a set up charge of £22.50 (+VAT)
Raw materials cost will also need to be added to the finished prise!

It is not possible to give an average length of a job as every job is different, but if you send us artwork we will do our best to give an estimate.
