The Solar Copymaster, Solar M3 and Solar M5 scanners produce high-resolution images that can be utilised in many ways. Having excellent depth of focus, outstanding detail can be captured from 3 dimensional objects.
Used in conjunction with vectorising software such as CorelTRACE these images can be converted into cutting files.
The example shown was produced from a scan of a leaf. The captured image was converted to greyscale and a vector file of the outline was created, this was overlaid on the grayscale image. Using the 3D function in the driver, the texture of the leaf was engraved from the grayscale image, and then using the vector the leaf shape was cut.

The Solar CopyMaster is a sophisticated yet easy to use companion for Universal Laser Systems capturing objects such as models and other artwork the way you look at them; face up. And just like the human eye it automatically focuses on the subject.
Inside the CopyMaster is a high specification computer with which the user interacts via the customary flat screen monitor, keyboard and keypad. In fact the CopyMaster doubles as a normal computer allowing the user to capture and output to an attached Universal Laser without having to use another computer.
The CopyMaster adjusts automatically to the light conditions so the optional attachable lights are seldom required. Other options include book cradles for added support and kiosk style software for those users less familiar with computers or for additional computer security.
If all you want is to photocopy then press a single button and whatever has been placed on the CopyMaster will be copied to the attached printer. For those who wish to copy to another computer on the same network or output to digital storage such as CD or a USB device then the CopyMaster provides familiar tools to do so.
